Students turning to neuroenhancers during times of high stress

Coffee, energy drinks, even getting more sleep. We all have ways to fight off fatigue when trying to meet a deadline or studying for midterms. But what if you could take something that not only kept you awake, but actually made you smarter?

University of Kentucky Communications Professor Dr. Alan DeSantis was so surprised by the misuse of prescription drugs on college campuses that he decided to study it. In his research of Adderall use on the Kentucky campus, he found that students do not view its use as cheating, but simply as nothing more than a “stiff cup of coffee.”
