
Tonight at 7:00 PM the Appalachian Center and Appalachian Studies Program will host a forum about home food preservation. They will particularly focus on home food preservations in Eastern Kentucky.
Over the last couple of years, urban areas have taken an interest in gardening and preserving food. It is becoming a popular practice in cities, but has always been popular in rural environments.
The local food movement will be discussed tonight at the Student Center in Room 206.
