“Presentation U” video helps students understand QEP

The University of Kentucky is attempting to get accreditation from Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and is asking students to help out.

UK is asking students to remember the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), which is one of 12 requirements for accreditation from SACS.

University officials and students spent time thinking up a the QEP, which will is being finalized and will be evaluated in spring 2013.

Wildcat Student TV has created a ‘doodling’ video that shows students the importance of the QEP to students and why they should care.

“Presentation U continues the commitment of UK Core’s Composition and Communication learning outcomes beyond the freshman or sophomore year, working with faculty and staff who choose to institute new communication-based curricula or to formalize programs already in place,” a news release said.

Students may be asked during the Spring 2013 semester by SACS about what UK’s QEP is, to which they should reply “Presentation U.”
