Annual festival brings Latino culture to Lexington

This weekend downtown Lexington will play host to the annual Festival Latino, a two-day event full of food, fun and heritage. Each night includes lots of music, dancing and plenty of authentic food. There will also be free activities for children and adults alike, providing fun for the whole family.

Saturday will include a performance from the Bluegrass Youth Ballet and will also feature the “Carnival” Parade, a parade based off of the traditional Brazilian Carnival.

Located at the corner of Main and Limestone, festivities will begin Friday night at 5 p.m. and last until 11 p.m. Saturday events will begin at 4 p.m. and wrap up at 11 p.m.
