James Young suffers injury in practice

Kentucky freshman, James Young, suffered a slight shoulder injury in practice yesterday.

The injury bug hasn’t been biting but rather nibbling a bit at Kentucky so far this Fall. Sophomore forwards Willie Cauley-Stein and Alex Poythress missed multiple weeks. Cauley-Stein suffered an injury to his hand when he struck it against the rim attempting to block a shot in practice and received stitches, he wore a protective glove Saturday during the Big Blue Madness scrimmage. Poythress suffered a hamstring injury that caused him to miss a week of practice and has caused him to be slower in practice.

Young’s injury is minor and hopefully the freshman won’t miss much practice time, if any at all.
