The hunt for Christian Grey in the popular book trilogy ’50 Shades of Grey’ is now over. According to several breaking reports, Jamie Dornan has been casted to play the leading man along side Dakota Johnson in the book-turned-movie deal.
50 Shades of Grey is a book that took everyone by storm with the relationship between recent college grad, Anastasia Steele and business tycoon, Christian Grey. The trilogy sold over 60 million copies.
Dornan is set to replace Charlie Hunnam, who dropped out of the movie due to his television schedule. Dornan is known mostly for being a former Calvin Klein model and his two-year relationship with Kiera Knightley.
Johnson helped producers in auditions to pick her right hand man and to make sure the chemistry that Steele and Grey shared in the book would transfer to the big screen.
There is no timeline for the movie’s release date but it has been said that the movie will be rated NC-17 because of the explicit nature of the film.
