The University of Kentucky Theatre will present “A Christmas Carol” this weekend, Friday, Dec. 6 to Sunday, Dec. 9. at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. Cost is $10 for students with a valid ID and $15 for general admission. It will be presented at the Fine Arts Guignol Bldg, 465 Rose St.
“A Christmas Carol” is the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a wealthy businessman who has a supernatural experience on Christmas Eve. Scrooge must face his past, present and future with three spirits. The apparitions and their prophecies will try to influence Scrooge to change his selfish and “humbug” ways.
“A Christmas Carol” is a family tradition for many and is a great way to kick off the holiday season. Enjoy.
