$90,000 worth of iPads were given to UK scholarship students

ipad2.jpg.jpegThe University of Kentucky awarded 150 new iPads this year to recipients of two separate scholarships. This marks the third year in a row that UK has made the steep expenditure. “2012-2013 was the first academic year we did that,” planning and financial operations director JoLynn Noe said the the Kentucky Kernel. “It’s part of the scholarship package we give to our top scholarship recipients.” UK shells out $90,000 per installment of Apple’s popular product.
