The fastest growing philanthropic event at the University of Kentucky is back for another year.
The third annual Bring It On Cheer Competition will be held at the Singletary Center for the Arts on October 9, 2014. Hosted by Beta Theta Pi and Kappa Delta, the competition pairs together sororities and fraternities on campus that then compete against each other for the crown. All the money raised from ticket sales and sponsors is given to the Violence and Intervention Prevention Center and the The Nest. Both organizations strive to protect woman and children across campus and in our community.
Last year, the second year in operation, the event exceeded all expectations. Every ticket was sold out and many students were forced to sit and stand in the aisles just to watch the competition go down. This year, the expectations are even higher. More sponsors have hopped on board and the ticket sales are booming once again.
Tickets are $9 and can be purchased at the Singletary Center before the competition or at the door.
