Four freshman- Dorian Baker, Stanley Williams, Drew Barker, and Tymere Dubose- have been suspended for this weekend’s game against South Carolina.
The players were suspended in connection to an air soft gun shooting on campus, Sunday night.
“Proper conduct is emphasized as a core value of our program,” head coach Mark Stoops said in a statement.
Coach Stoops also said that his players would be held accountable for all of their actions.
Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart said that ““It disappoints us when one of our student-athletes does not live up to our expectations. We respect the process of the University and are working hand-in-hand with the campus community on this issue.”
