USAID’s Christie Vilsack to speak on education in developing countries tonight

Senior Advisor for International Education at the U.S. Agency for International Development, Christie Vilsack, will be speaking at  University of Kentucky’s Memorial Hall tonight at 6 p.m.

Vilsack’s talk, “Let Girls Learn: Education in Developing Countries” will discuss USAID’s education strategy, which focuses on improving children’s reading skills and providing fair opportunities for education in conflict-ridden areas.

This event is free, open to the public and will last approximately one hour.
