This Saturday at the Thoroughbred Park on Midland Avenue, there will be a “Bully Breed Awareness Walk” for those in the community who wish to show their support for typical “bully breed” dogs who are commonly mislabeled as aggressive. These breeds can include dogs such as pit-bulls, German Shepherds, Rottweiler’s, and any mix in-between. The goal of this walk is to educate the public on breed legislation, and provide education in general to those who do not know about these breeds. The walk aims to end discrimination locally and nationally of the bully breeds. The first 150 people to pre-register at Bully Breed Awareness 2015 will receive a free bandana. The walk will begin at 9:30 am Saturday, and last till noon.
