After last week’s gubernatorial debate between candidates Jack Conway, Matt Bevin and Drew Curtis, two of the three aspiring lieutenant governors will hold their own debate at the Midway University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Jenean Hampton, running mate to Republican candidate Bevin, and Sannie Overly, Conway’s choice of a running mate, will debate key topics that are impacting Kentuckians. The event will bemoderated by WKYT anchor Bill Bryant and WLKY anchor Vicki Dortch and will run approximately for one hour.
Heather Curtis, wife and running mate of Drew Curtis, will not be attending the debate as a participant.
All three 2015 governor candidates participated in the first debate of this year’s race on Sept. 15 at Bellarmine University.
Election Day is Nov. 3.
