Lexington received a little more than 5 inches of snow overnight.

The rest of today is forecast to be partly sunny with a high near 37, according to the National Weather Service. Monday night will be clear with a low near 26.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny; high near 58

Wednesday night brings a 20 percent chance of rain after 10 p.m. with clouds and a low around 45.

Still not quite winter

If you missed the light dusting of snow in Lexington Wednesday morning, you’re not alone. The small amount of precipitation — about 0.03 inches in six hours, according to the National Weather Service — that fell around 7 a.m. was all but gone by the afternoon.

Thursday afternoon will be partly sunny with a high of 41 degrees. Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 27.

Friday has a 50 percent chance of rain or snow during the day, with temperatures around 39 degrees, and a 40 percent chance for the same precipitation at night, with a low of 24.
